Structure of the Measure
Α. Sub-measure 16.1- 16.2 “Establishment and operation of operational groups of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) for the productivity and sustainability of agriculture”, which includes two Actions:
• Action 1: Establishment of (potential) ESK Operational Groups for agricultural productivity and sustainability.
• Action 2: Implementation of the operational plan (project) of the ESK Operational Groups for the productivity and sustainability of agriculture.

Β. Sub-measure 16.1 – 16.5 “Cooperation for environmental projects, environmental practices and climate change actions” which includes two Actions:
• Action 1: Creation of partnerships, establishment of ESK Operational Groups, with the aim of promoting actions that demonstrate respect for environmental protection and adaptation to climate change.
• Action 2: Implementation of the business plan (project) of collaborations with the aim of promoting actions that show respect for the protection of the environment and adaptation to climate change.

Objective of the Measure
Measure 16 of the RDP 2014-2020 aims to promote the cooperation of entities active in the agricultural sector. In the framework of Sub-measures 16.1 – 16.2 and 16.1 – 16.5 the opportunity is given for the utilization of new technologies, which may include, indicatively, the application of new, innovative processes in the primary production of agricultural products and in the food sector, as well as for the search for new cultivation practices and production practices that contribute to the protection of the environment but also to adaptation to climate change.
Beneficiaries are cooperation schemes of bodies (Operational Groups (O.G.)), which consist of at least 2 members and are active either a) in matters related to the agricultural / livestock sector (production and marketing of agricultural / livestock products) and in the field of foodstuffs, as long as it/they are a product/products of Annex I of the Treaty in terms of Sub-Measure 16.1-16.2 or b) in matters related to the protection of the environment and climate change in terms of Sub-Measure 16.1-16.5.
